Looking for a fun, free and educational family activity this weekend? Join Radcliff Parks & Recreation at the beautiful Saunders Springs Nature Preserve for a special visit from our friends at Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary.This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from wildlife experts and get an up-close look at some of the incredible animals currently in their care. It’s the perfect Saturday outing for nature lovers of all ages in one of Radcliff's most scenic spots.When: Saturday, May 9Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PMWhere: Saunders Springs Nature PreserveWhile the event is free to attend, the sanctuary relies on your generosity to keep running. Monetary and in-kind donations are greatly appreciated. Needed supplies include:- Cleaning Supplies & Paper Towels- Food: Wet/dry dog or cat food, bird food, nuts, cereal, and canned chicken/tuna.- Fresh Goods: Eggs, muffins, and produce (fruit/veggies).- Comfort Items: Non-fitted sheets, towels, totes, and carriers. If you can't make this one, mark your calendars for our upcoming Broadbent Wildlife visit June 13 from 1-3 PM.Bring the kids out to learn about local conservation and meet some new feathered or furry friends.
