City of Radcliff Government
Celebrating 70 Years of RadcliffHave you ever noticed your auto-correct on your phone changes the spelling of our city from Radcliff to Radcliffe? Well, it’s not exactly wrong. The City of Radcliff was named after Major William Radcliffe, the head of the Quartermaster Corps at Camp Henry Knox. Horace McCullum chose to name the city after his friend when he first subdivided the land in 1919.It is believed the E was dropped over time, and the Articles of Incorporation for the city officially etches RADCLIFF, without the E, into the Kentucky state record. #Radcliff70 #TeamRadcliff #RadcliffStrong #CommunityFirst #RadcliffHistory #TheMoreYouKnow ...
